I can't find any flaws. My heart breaks for each of them in their turn, and sings when things are working for them. Movies don't have to be great epics, or complicated, to move our hearts forever. Can you imagine it makes Siberia seem like a wonderful place? Oh well, I guess where there is true love, heaven exists. Probably time for a rewatch. :)Miranda https://www.blogger.com/profile/13418800569507952654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327094740848639572.post-14946252372983543762014-08-30T20:34:35.924-07:002014-08-30T20:34:35.924-07:00Oh, perfect - I was trying to think of which chara...Oh, perfect - I was trying to think of which character Tosya reminded me. Certainly Anne of Green Gables. I really loved this movie, and would be embarrassed to say how many times I've watched it over the past two weeks. I will admit to watching it twice, back to back for starters. It's THAT sublime.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327094740848639572.post-10405113069159231822013-11-28T08:18:59.289-08:002013-11-28T08:18:59.289-08:00I'm glad you knew the name of the building, ca...I'm glad you knew the name of the building, cause I didn't remember! It's been a while. Yes, this movie is entirely adorable. It's definitely worth re-watching at interval, which is always my biggest compliment. Also, given a week of it sitting in the back of my brain, percolating, I realized that these two look remarkably like another onscreen couple, Logan and Veronica from Veronica Mars. Weird comparison, but true. Also, this heroine is rather Anne of Green Gable's like . . . Secondly, this movie looks overwhelmingly cute. I see another addition to add to my rapidly-growing list...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
